Abruzzo is a large region and there are many areas with problems of earthquakes and severe cold offering very cheap properties.
Teramo is not a province that has these problems.. it does not lie on the major Appenine faultline stretching through the Province of L'Aquila, does not have the major pollution problems of the Pescara valley and the surrounds from the huge illegal waste dumps of Bussi and is not on the borders of the Molise and its frequent Quakes. Sometimes it pays to look beyond the price.
